Become an IARCP Authorized Certified Trainer / Certified Information Systems Risk and Compliance Professional Trainer (IARCP-ACT / CISRCPT)
All organizations are exposed to uncertainties related to information systems, and they need experts that are qualified to help the board of directors and senior management understand and manage these uncertainties.
Managing uncertainties related to information systems is not an easy task. Limited resources and an ever-changing landscape of threats and vulnerabilities make understanding and completely mitigating all risks impossible.
Information systems risk management is the process of understanding and responding to factors that may lead to a failure in the confidentiality, integrity or availability of information systems.
Managing risks in information systems is becoming more important and more difficult every year. The same time, cyber attacks have become more frequent, more widespread, and more consequential. All countries are significantly expanding the cyber capabilities that power their economies and support their national security.
The transformations being undertaken in the financial, health care, energy, transportation and defense sectors are predicated on an expectation that cyber devices (computers, software, and communications technologies), communications networks, and embedded control systems for critical infrastructures will be available and perform as expected.
Risks and risk management strategies must be clearly communicated to organizational management and the board of directors.
Presenting risk in terms of likelihood and impact is not only a necessity, it is often a legal obligation as well. Many organizations must provide evidence that they exercise due care and protect their assets that are stored in information systems. They need risk and compliance management awareness and training. They need experts that are qualified to train them.
